As part of the construction work on site, carried out by Infraestruturas de Portugal, a temporary traffic closure will be implemented on Rua Manuel Almeida e Sousa, between Coimbra-B Station and the intersection with Rua Coronel Júlio Veiga Simão on 30 June and 1 and 2 July.
This closure is necessary to carry out a video inspection of the rainwater networks on Rua Dr. Manuel de Almeida e Sousa. This work will be carried out via the access on the axis of the road, making it impossible to maintain the necessary safety distance to carry out this work in alternating traffic and safely, thus requiring the suspension of traffic in both directions.
Pedestrian traffic will not be affected on either street.
The alternative roads are those indicated in the image.
Therefore, traffic should be carried out via Estrada de Eiras and the road connecting it to Rua Manuel Almeida e Sousa, next to the Lidl supermarket.
