This Friday, May 9, Metro Mondego will mark Europe Day with an awareness-raising and dissemination initiative on the importance of European Funds in the construction of the Metrobus System.
Tomorrow, the Metrobus will be at Solum station, highlighting the fundamental role of the financial support of the Cohesion Fund in the development of this project. Between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, it will be possible to visit it and learn about the main features of the new mobility system.
With this initiative, Metro Mondego aims to reinforce to the population the importance of EU funds in public investment and in the modernization of urban mobility, promoting a more sustainable, accessible and efficient public transport system for the region.
The Metrobus project represents a new paradigm of mobility for the region, being co-financed by European Union Funds, through the Sustainable 2030 program and PO SEUR.
