As part of the ongoing construction work on the Alto de São João – Portagem Metrobus urban section, carried out by Infraestruturas de Portugal, between June 2 (Monday) and June 4 (Wednesday), it will be necessary to close the road access from Rua do Brasil (Ladeira do Batista) to Avenida da Lousã, in order to carry out the final paving work on the Metrobus channel between this area and Largo da Portagem.
During this period, the alternative road route will be to reverse course at Largo da Portagem, as shown in the image.
Pedestrian traffic, particularly crossings of Avenida Emídio Navarro, will be interrupted for short periods of time while paving is carried out at the specific location of these crossings.
With the completion of these final paving works on the Metrobus channel, with a colour that will distinguish it from the rest of the city's streets, the unevenness currently existing at the crossings of the channel will be eliminated, restoring normal traffic conditions on the roads.
