As part of the construction work for the urban section of the Portagem – Coimbra-B Metrobus, carried out by Infraestruturas de Portugal, a temporary traffic closure will be implemented on Rua Manuel Almeida e Sousa, between Coimbra-B Station and the intersection with Rua Coronel Júlio Veiga Simão, which is essential for the safe execution of the works that will take place between 8:00 am on 26/05/2025 and 7:00 pm on 28/05/2025.
This closure is justified by the need to carry out work on the slopes of Rua Manuel Almeida e Sousa, namely the application of topsoil and hydroseeding, which includes the occupation of the road by heavy vehicles. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

Therefore, traffic should be carried out via Estrada de Eiras and the street connecting it to Rua Manuel Almeida e Sousa, next to the Lidl supermarket.
