Phase A (Serpins – Portagem) of the Mondego Mobility System will begin operating in December with free service during this period.

Until it begins operating, the Alternative Services to the Lousã Branch will remain in operation, but without charging for transport tickets.
In this context, holders of the Alternative Services pass will not need to recharge for the month of December.
Thus, Metro Mondego will provide free passenger transport in December, initially through the Alternative Services and, in a second phase, with the Metrobus in operation.
When the Metrobus begins operating, the Alternative Services will cease operating.
Metro Mondego's main objective is to serve the population better and more efficiently.
