Following the development of construction work on the Alto de São João – Portagem urban section, under the responsibility of Infraestruturas de Portugal, it will be necessary to suspend from this Thursday, October 3rd, and for 60 days, the road connection on Rua do Brasil , under the Calhabé viaduct, towards Solum.
The recommended road alternatives follow the scheme presented.
Thus, the traffic flow between the western area of Rua do Brasil and Solum will have as an alternative the connection of Rua do Brasil with Rua Dom Manuel I via the road interface, with access to Rua Tomé Rodrigues Sobral via the new street that leaves from Rua Dom João III. In the opposite direction of Rua do Brasil there will be no changes.
The implementation of this conditioning is necessary to allow the following work to be carried out:
- Execution of gutters and rainwater collectors;
- Installation of public lighting;
- Opening of manhole;
- Earthmoving and paving;
- Urban integration (curbs and sidewalks).
