Following the construction work on the Alto de São João – Portagem urban stretch, carried out by Infraestruturas de Portugal, it will be necessary to suspend the road connection between Largo da Portagem and Couraça da Estrela for 30 days, starting this Wednesday, March 26th.
This restriction will be used to enable the necessary rainwater, wastewater and electrical infrastructure works and paving work in the area marked in the attached image.
Therefore, in order to keep this street accessible to existing establishments, it will temporarily acquire a two-way traffic flow, and it is expected that the prohibition of parking on the south side of the stretch will act as a facilitator for any necessary U-turn maneuvers.
