On December 3rd, a new phase of the Metrobus works began in the Celas area, relating to the Avenida Aeminium - Pediatric Hospital section, promoted by Infraestruturas de Portugal.

After preparatory work in Praça Machado de Assis and on the central dividers of Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian and Alameda Armando Gonçalves, a new phase of the works began with the traffic changes shown in the attached image.

In this phase, with an estimated duration of two months, both directions of traffic on Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian are carried out on the south side in a 50-meter stretch.

The beginning of Alameda Armando Gonçalves from Praça Machado de Assis will have both directions of traffic running on the north side of the avenue.

Access to parking for commercial establishments, particularly for emergency vehicles, is guaranteed.

Given the impossibility of maintaining all existing pedestrian routes, pedestrians are duly directed to the nearest crosswalk.

The works to be carried out are:

· Construction of rainwater and wastewater collectors;

· Construction of the Metrobus channel;

· Traffic light installation;

· Construction of a pedestrian crossing for public lighting;

· Urban integration;

· Paving.
