This weekend, September 6th and 7th, Metro Mondego will hold a demonstration of the Mondego Mobility System between the Lousã – Parque de Exposições and Serpins stations.
The demonstration will run from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, with the Metrobus departing every half hour from these stations, stopping at the three intermediate stations along the route: Lousã-Estação, Casal do Espírito Santo, and Casal de Santo António. Metrobus vehicles can carry up to 136 people, including passengers with reduced mobility.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a free first ride, under conditions very similar to those that will characterize the system when it enters commercial operation, which is expected to occur in the last quarter of this year.
In August, similar demonstrations were held in the municipalities of Miranda do Corvo and Coimbra, which received strong public participation.
