While the construction of Mondego’s Mobility System is ongoing, Metro Mondego is ensuring road transport services (Lousã Bus Line) between Coimbra and Serpins.

Important information:
The ticket must be purchased at the ticket offices. Whenever the ticket office is closed or the stop does not have a ticket office, tickets can be purchased from the bus driver.
Vending machines are available at Estação Nova (Coimbra) and at the Metrobus stations of Lousã-Estação, Miranda do Corvo (south side) and São José (two machines) where it is possible to carry out the following operations relating to Alternative Services:
• Ticket sales;
• Card top-up.
The machines accept all payment methods, including cash, bank card and QRCode.

The machines accept all payment methods, including cash, bank card and QRCode.
- Official identification document, proof of age: Citizen's Card, Identity Card, Driver's License or Passport.
- Completion of the Request Template (normal card cost - €6.00).
The card is issued on the spot.
- Youth pass, for passengers aged up to 25;
- Pass 4_18, for passengers aged between 4 and 18;
- Sub23 pass, for student passengers aged up to 23 years old.
- Children aged between 5 and 12 years old inclusive (children up to 3 years old, when accompanied by adults, have the right to travel free of charge, as long as they do not occupy a seat);
- Adults aged 65 or over;
- Retirees and pensioners, regardless of their age, upon presentation of the Golden Card issued by CP.
Young people up to and including 25 years old benefit from a 25% discount on the ticket price. With a Youth Card, you can benefit from this discount up to and including 30 years of age.
- Normal Service when serving all stops on the network;
- Direct Service, a non-stop route between two locations;
- Semi-direct service when serving only a few stops on the network.
Customers who already have cards for this type of pass can top it up for free at the ticket offices.
Those who have a CP card with a Normal or Young profile must obtain a new card, the cost being borne by the customer.
All students, aged 4 to 23 years old, can take advantage of these passes, regardless of whether they have guaranteed school transport, provived that:
• from 4 to 18 years old, it is not necessary to take proof of enrollment in an educational unit;
• from 19 to 23 years old, they must prove that they are students, by presenting a Declaration of Enrollment at a national education unit, including students enrolled in secondary or professional courses;
• students up to the age of 24, who attend courses with an integrated study cycle, in accordance with article 19.º Decree-Law no. 65/2018 of 16 August, namely Architecture and Urban Planning, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Dental Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
