Due to the landslide in Sobral de Ceira and the consequent temporary suspension of Metrobus operations on the suburban section between Sobral de Ceira and Serpins, with an estimated duration of 2 (two) weeks, Metro Mondego (MM) informs that it will reinforce the schedules of alternative transport from Monday, February 9th.

The services provided guarantee access to all stations served by the Metrobus. The existing interruption on the EM 633 requires that connections from intermediate stops between Vale de Açor and Miranda do Corvo be made by two complementary services: from Sobral de Ceira to Vale de Açor and from Trémoa to Miranda do Corvo.

The timetables that will be in effect from February 9th are as follows:

1- Connection between Serpins and Vale das Flores

Considering the closure of the EM 633, the Vale das Flores – Miranda do Corvo route will be direct, via the A13, continuing to Serpins, serving all stops of alternative services from Miranda do Corvo. This connection will be made hourly by Busway.

In addition, there will be reinforcements during peak periods, which will make direct connections between Miranda do Corvo and Coimbra (operated by Busway) and between Lousã and Coimbra (operated by Vale do Ave).

2- Connection between Miranda do Corvo and Trémoa

Given the unavailability of the EM 633 between Trémoa and Vale de Açor, the connection between Trémoa and Miranda do Corvo (operated by MLopesTour) will continue to be ensured, with hourly frequency. Available times can be found at the following link: https://abrir.link/CCVbt

3- Connection between Vale de Açor and Sobral de Ceira

This connection will be made by taxi service, and the invoice must be presented to Metro Mondego afterwards.

This service is only for the route between Vale de Açor and the Sobral de Ceira Metrobus station.

The invoice must include the following information:

- Metro-Mondego, S.A. Tax Identification Number (NIF) (503671320)

- Passenger names.
